DDCAP Limited was named the “Best Interbroker for Islamic Transactions” in the Islamic Finance news (IFN) awards for Best Service Providers 2010. The awards were announced on the 6th October 2010 and were decided following polling of financial institutions, issuers, investors and government bodies in the industry.
The other winners were the Accounting & Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOFI) as Most Outstanding Standard Setting Body; Norton Rose as Best Law Firm in Islamic Finance; Fitch Ratings as Best Islamic Ratings Agency; CIMB Islamic as Best Islamic Fund Manager; Dow Jones Islamic as Best Islamic Index Provider; Path Solutions as Best Islamic Technology Provider; HSBC Amanah as Best Islamic Wealth Management Provider; Dar Al Shariah as Best Shariah Advisory Firm and as Best Islamic Consultancy Firm; Munich Re as best re-Takaful Provider; and International Shariah Research Academy (ISRA) as Best Islamic Research Firm.
The awards will be presented in early 2011, at Gala Awards ceremonies to take place in both Malaysia and Dubai.
