Stella Cox, attending in the capacity of Chair of TheCityUK’s Islamic Finance Market Advisory Group, was delighted to address the Madrid Islamic Banking and Finance 1st Forum on Tuesday 17th March. She participated in a session titled “The Growth and Expansion of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions Worldwide,” chaired by Dr. Sayd Farook, Global Head of Islamic Capital Markets at Thomson Reuters.
The Forum was sponsored by the Islamic Development Bank, Qatar Financial Centre and Kuwait Finance House. The keynote speech was delivered by H.E. Professor Datuk Rifaat Ahmed Abdel Karim, Chief Executive Officer of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILM).
