DDCAP (DIFC) Director, Cassim Docrat was at the just concluded Global Islamic Economic Summit 2015 held at the Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE on the 5th & 6th of October 2015 .
The Global Summit was well attended by a number of senior practitioners from the global Islamic financial market, with keynote addresses delivered by His Royal Highness, Muhammadu Sanusi II, The Emir of Kano, Nigeria and Prof. Muhammad Yunus Founder of Grameen Bank and 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Winner.
The Summit convened a variety of policy-makers and business leaders from different jurisdictions with discussions centred on the various sectors of the Islamic economy and the launch of the inaugural “Innovation 4 Impact Competition” hosted by the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) and Thomson Reuters.
