In February 2014, Stella accepted an invitation to join the University of East London’s (UEL) Islamic Finance and Banking Advisory Board.
UEL is a modern university located in the London Borough of Newham, East London, England, based at three campuses in Stratford and Docklands, following the opening of University Square Stratford in September 2013.
It is one of the top six modern universities for research in the UK and has been recognised nationally for its achievements and high standards.
