16th Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum 2021 – 9th & 10th March 2021

The 16th Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum 2021 (KLIFF) was held virtually for the first time with the theme “Setting the road ahead towards economy recovery”. The keynote and opening speech was presented by The Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan and the Royal Patron for Malaysia’s Islamic Finance Initiative. KLIFF 2021 was held for 2 days and covered a wide spectrum of Islamic Economics. Panelist’s on Day 1 discussed “Strengthening Islamic Finance towards shared prosperity, Global Islamic Finance – the road ahead and the outlook of the Global Islamic Capital Market”

DDCAP was represented by our KL Chief Representative, Mr. Roslan Ahmad, who was honored to join as one of the panelist’s on Day 2. Roslan shared insight on Islamic digital banking and Islamic fintech.

Other topics discussed included Strategies to survive COVID19 effects; SME Perspective; Islamic Finance challenges and opportunities amid COVID -19 Pandemic; Islamic social finance instruments & strategies towards achieving sustainable development goals and Global takaful and Islamic wealth management outlook.
